Air Tube Systems or also known as pneumatic tube systems are systems in which cylindrical containers are propelled through a network of tubes by air pressure or by vacuum. They are used for transporting physical objects such as cash, documents, or products to as many individual destinations as you want, at the touch of a button

Click on the types of tube systems below for descriptions.

Cashair 750 Tube System is the easy way to provide security.
The ability to constantly transfer cash to a remote location provides more than security. The benefits include peace-of-mind for staff knowing that large amounts of cash are no longer in their registers or being carried around with the associated risk.

Transfers are no longer governed by preset pick-ups, which can interrupt and annoy customers. The Cashair System enables any operator to transfer cash whenever they require. There are no interruptions to customer transactions and cash accumulation need no longer occur.

The operator simply inserts the carrier into their station and it's gone. No fuss, no noise, quiet, quick and totally secure.

Features:
  • Audible alarms – many of these can be rectified or cancelled by the Supervisor
  • Time and date display
  • Real-time data logging and printable audit trails
  • Position in queue feature
  • Up to 275 operator PINs available
  • Service Mode – enables service personnel to check and find faults quickly
  • 1 send station can recognise many cash register identities. (Dual registers)
  • Stations can be installed to travel above or below check-outs.

The parachute bag revolution.

Although the use of parachute Bags has been in the market place for some time, it is now that the major retailers have well embraced the concept. Some of the advantages of using parachute bags are as follows:

  • Hundreds of cash filled bags can be sent either directly to a vacuum sealed safe or laminated receiving cabinet.
  • As with any commodity that becomes mainstream, the price per bag is very low, compared to hard carrier system
  • Bag systems do not require a secondary system to return empty carriers, a significant savings for the user.
  • A parachute system is much more reliable.
  • Frees up space in and around the checkout areas as there is no need to store hard carriers.
  • Requires less motor power due to low weight.
  • Can be hooked onto Lamson Cashguard system with ease.

Cashguard Tube System

The Cashguard system is designed to transfer bags of cash (referred to as “Parachute Bags” which are disposable and minimum cost) from a security/cash room inside a building directly into an armoured vehicle parked outside the building via a single tube run.

The benefits are a safe, secure and efficient transfer of large amounts of cash without the need for armed security officers to carry large volumes of cash in public areas, reducing the risk of serious injury (or worse) to security personnel, store staff and the general public.

Cashguard reduces the public liability and Cash in Transit risk that threatens many retailers today.

  • Extensively used in Australian Supermarkets.
  • Extensively used by cash carry Companies.

If you are serious about safety and security – think Cashguard.

AC3000 Multi-Station Tube System
Any department can be connected to a pneumatic tube system.

For example in an hospital environment the laboratory, reception, blood centre, theatres, central pharmacy, pathology, care stations, nurses room and all supporting areas and facilities such as administration and the kitchen. All types of documents, reports, patient histories, X-rays, medicines and drugs, lab specimens, blood plasma, injection vials and instruments are suitable to be transported in the pneumatic tube.

Furthermore, also dictating tapes for the typing pool, (new) meal requests/changes to be sent to the kitchen, mail and reports to and from administration can also be transported using a pneumatic tube system.

The AC3000 sending-and receiving-stations are based on a concept that has been perfectly adapted to the demands of a modern hospital. The standard of the AC3000 includes a storage facility for automatic despatch, pneumatic brakes to decelerate the arriving carriers and various speeds can be individually adjusted for transporting delicate goods.

The central PC automatically controls the entire operation. Recording the processes enables an exact evaluation and analysis.

Standard Features
